Mardi Gras Floats Mock Failure of Obamacare

But what I REALLY wanted larry to see is this comment about the article.... found on response page..

Don't laugh, Dear leader Obama puts out these floats himself......to find out who his enemies are.......i.e. why did the city leaders let these go thru?

Mike,

You obviously don't know me at all. I have never defended Obama or his windfall for healthcare insurance corporations. I am an independent--not a Democrat. I firmly believe that President Obama was installed as president by the same banking and oil oligarchy that controlled those presidents who preceded him.

German parade floats of Obama, Hildebeast, and Bill Clinton are much better thought out and executed.

This float depicting Obama trying to force a camel through the eye of a needle is priceless. Of course it refers to the difficulty of a rich person getting into Heaven (Biblical).

Mike,

I don't believe in conspiracy theories--especially the government's conspiracy theory about 19 Arabs who trained in Cessna's hijacking airliners and crashing them into two of the World Trade towers which then miraculously brought down a third tower which wasn't even adjacent to the Twin Towers.

Mike,

Refusing to believe a conspiracy theory does not make me a conspiracy theorist.

If you believe the government's conspiracy theory, that makes you a conspiracy theorist.

I find your convoluted thinking to be very confusing... How do you justify "Believing" in anti Government Conspiracy but not Believing in "Government Conspiracy" (NOT that I believe either one actually)

IF you didn't believe in the Anti Government Conspiracy crap, then why do you continue to use it to bolster your arguments... You send along sites and articles that bolster your belief in the "Anti Government" stuff.

I generally try to send sites and articles that bolster MY Conservative views.....

The old saw that "if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, it more than likely is a duck" Pertains to you in everything I have seen you post sofar..

Mike,

Can you define your conservative views?

Is it a conservative trait to believe whatever your government tells you even if it doesn't make any sense at all?

No it is not Larry and I have not actually said that on these postings... Anything I have posted has been to show you and anyone else interested that for every Conspiracy offered there is a well balanced anti conspiracy offered...

the following is a very good defination of a conservative... not my words, but my beliefs..

I offer 10 basic conservative principles.

2. The government that governs best governs LEAST.

3. Government normally does not solve problems. People do. Big government usually IS the problem.

4. Oppressive large governments are responsible for more murders of citizens than all of the wars in history.

5. The private sector is where the juice of society lies. There you will find ingenuity, creativity, and the creation of wealth--provided government gets out of the way.

6. Government social programs reward pathological dependency. True adults, unless hindered by debilitating physical impairment, seek independent living as free persons who are not stuck in an infantile dependency on the government nanny.

7. The one role of government mandated by the U.S. Constitution is to provide for the national defense.

8. Human rights are not granted by government. They are inherent and automatic. We are 'endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights.' Government can only choose to recognize and protect those inherent rights.

9. The right to self-defense, as encapsulated in the 2nd Amendment, is the key to all of the other rights described in the Bill of Rights. Free speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, and a free press are secured and kept secure by an armed citizenry.

10. Our form of government is NOT a 'pure democracy' or 'majority rule.' In a Constitutional Republic such as ours, the will of the majority is tempered and limited by the rights of the minority, which are always intact and unalienable regardless of the 'will of the majority.'

you forgot #1...

If we let the rich do what they want, they will take care of us by providing jobs, creating wealth and saving the environment because they care about everyone.

That's what I'm doing, Mike--offering an anti-conspiracy in place of the government's 9/11 conspiracy theory.

As to your Ronnie Reagan conservative views, it's nice they come out to an even ten. Sorta like the ten commandments which were redundant as well.

Reagan proved government regulations are necessary. He signed a bill deregulating savings and loan corporations in the 1980s. The private sector then bought up savings and loans and started using them as their own private piggy banks. That debacle cost taxpayers plenty to clean up.

Clinton allowed the Glass-Steagal Act to be repealed in the late 1990s. Without the banking regulations that had been installed right after the big depression, investment banks, commercial banks and insurance firms merged to form "too big to fail" corporations who then created the massive mortgage fraud scams that brought down the world economy in 2008.

Where government gets really dangerous for its citizens is when it is allowed to create a massive and secretive organization such as the Homeland Security Agency. It has become so large that no one can say how much it costs and so secretive that no one knows what it does. Add to that the fact that HSA is stockpiling billions of rounds of ammunition. No one is storming our borders so it is easy to figure out who that ammo will be used against. Don't forget to surpentine when they come for you.
