I have been using the Wacom Bamboo for years and just purchased the Intuos Pro. Really love it, much more responsive than the Bamboo....but can not get it to work wireless on my Mac. I have been on the phone with Wacom numerous times and have had email chats as well, no luck. They suggested I contact Apple now.....hmmmm.
I have removed all traces of the Bamboo as Wacom suggested
below...
"Library > Application Support (most likely a Wacom related or Tablet folder)
Library > Preference Panes (anything with Wacom, or Tablet in the name)
Library > Preferences (same as above folders, may also have a com.wacom
. entry)
System > Library > Extensions (should be wacom tablet
)
System > Library > Preference Panes
The same will have to be checked in any respective Users folder on the system
Users > _username_ > Library > Application Support
Users > _username_ > Library > Preference Panes
Users > _username_ > Library > Preferences
After this is complete then there should not be any leftover files of a previous Wacom driver file.
A restart and a repair of your disk permissions would be important steps before installing a driver."
I have searched the internet and found that others have had the same trouble with wireless but have not found an answer.
Anyone have any ideas?
Nope. I have the Intous 5, but wired. I read so many negative posts about wireless that I kept mine with the wire.

I think you will find that all pro artists who use the Intuos, all recommend a wired fitting, almost universally.

OK, thanks!
The wireless works great on my PC but not the Mac. I ordered a 6" USB extender that was recommended by a few people and it is even suggested in the manual. The extender was only a total of $4 including shipping.
I would just would like to get rid of as many wires as possible. Since it works wireless so well on my PC, it might work perfectly on my Mac. Worth a try!

Yes, it would not be worth changing to the Intuos Pro just to get wireless. The Intuos Pro works much better than the Bamboo I had. It was worth the extra price to upgrade.
