I think these are great. I have the whole Topaz package as plug-ins to Photoshop and just love them.

Great shot of castle, but as usual(for me), I think there is too much water, and it distracts from the main subject

Topaz produced a nice effect in #1 but the best part is that you started with a great picture. Great result. #2 is kind of neat too except for the pink posterizing in some of the sky area.

Shouldn't be too difficult. And by the way I think the way you composed the water and reflection in #1 was on the money...no crop needed IMO
