Has anyone had experience with Pixoto? They claim a 100% satisfaction guarantee. My third purchase from them was bad, the first 2 were OK and I tried to contact them. They do not respond to any problems, their address posted on their web site and phone number is not correct.

I am sorry to hear that. I have never dealt with them, but if you are looking for a good canvas company check out Canvas on Demand. I have had over 20 printed by them and am very satisfied. The promptly fixed the two canvases I did have problems with.

Probably the way they get 100% satisfaction... don't respond or accept any customer complaints. Then they will achieve their goal.

Did they specify to your satisfaction or theirs?

I have mentioned before my satisfaction with Muralsyourway.com, both with vinyl murals and with very large canvas prints. Check them out

Very high quality printing and the best mounting I've ever seen.

I use CGProprint all the time. I had one issue but they corrected it and I will continue using them. They have a beautiful product with amazing mounts.

I have never used Pixoto, but am a great fan of Canvas on Demand. I have many canvases from them. One frame warped, which made the canvas buckle, I sent them photos of it, and they immediately sent me a new one. Sorry about your dilemma; I hope you get some satisfaction from them eventually.

I have used Pixoto and when I had a delivery problem they were very helpful and quickly resolved it. Actually I ended up with 2 canvases since they did not live up to their delivery time. I have not had a need to use them since, however. My profile can be viewed at http://www.pixoto.com/iamcreated

I've never had a canvass made for any of my pics, but I am thinking about it. If I went to, say, Wal-Mart and ordered a 16x20 canvas print, would it actually end up like 14x18 or in that neighborhood? I made 3 of my plane pics into "canvasses" using a cheap kit I bought just to see what they would look like (3 8 1/2x11 faux canvass paper sheets and 3 plastic fold-together frames complete with double-stick tape). I don't have my tape with me to measure, but they ended up around 6x9. I got a nice new lens last week and it takes some nice pics. I posted some yesterday.

Try Costco. They do canvas prints and even stretch/nail them to a real wood frame for you as part of the price. I'm sure they're also cheaper than a send-out lab. Plus you see a real face to compliment or complain to when you pick your canvas up.
