My fiancé bought me a nice Cannon camera and I have wanted a good DSLR forever!! I think I have a great natural eye for photography and am going to study everything I can about composition, and technique as well as PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!

Hi Op3thian, welcome to the hog. Your first post is very nicely done. Pic 1, though i would have used less zoom and not cut his head off. Both other shots are excellent. You will do well with your Canon. Which model is it? I use a 60D.
