CEDAR WAXWINGS! :-D

I've lived in Fl. for 30 yrs now and have never seen these birds here. It must be really, really cold up north!!

Not great shots, I was just glad I didn't panic when I saw them and blow it all together!

Thanks for your OK via PM to let me play with #1 a bit. In PSE 12, I adjusted levels, smart tone, and a bit of sharpen + noise removal. Tried to lighten around the eye a bit, including tiny bit of dodging.

Picasa museum matte. Sorry I cropped and cut off part of your signature :)

Nice set Tracey...I remember well my first capture of the waxy ones...I was truly nervous hoping to get the camera in time.

One of the difficulties in capturing keepers is that the waxwings are almost always in positions among the leaves, limbs and berries which makes it that more difficult to gain proper focus.

I know how glad you are to have your first set of waxwing images...

Way cool Tracey, how exciting, looks like a good size group, one more item to check off your list, well done, hope they travel it little farther south
