Great photos of a lovely park. Do you know who it's named after, please. My maiden name was Stanley.

I am also interested. My great, great, Grandfather built a beautiful home on many acres on the Hunter River near Newcastle, NSW, Australia. He called the property Stanley Park. His father, or grandfather came from England but they were Smith's. Probably no connection but I did wonder when I saw the name of the park.

Nice series once again. I like the composition of the third shot in particular--makes the building looks like some monstrous creeping crab. Enjoyed them all!
