It's funny Jerry. When I was there, what kept running through my head was: Just what would the former inmates there think of the fact that people were lining up to pay $22 a head to see the place. The price has since gone to $30.

I'm glad they raised it. $22 was my limit. Now I'll save on the plane fare, too. :D

I've never visited Alcatraz but have always been fascinated by it. I appreciate you giving us a tour through your pictures. You did a great job. :thumbup:

Thanks John. I had spent way too many years "untravelling" and finally got the opportunity of a ten day window to the west and went for it. Alcatraz for some bizarre reason was on my bucket list.
