I am trying to edit some pictures from our daughter's wedding and cannot print them in an 8x10 format without cutting off people. I have an older version of Photoshop. Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated. And I am having color issues with the photo of Sarah's Family

Your camera is probably taking 3/2 format which means it will print 8 x 12. An 8x10 will either lose from the top or the bottom. What processing program do you use?
Sorry, I just saw you are using an older version of Photoshop. Have tried setting the white with the eye dropper? This should make the skin natural. Other than that, you will probably need a specialized program like onOne.

don't know if this is any better

The version of Photoshop wouldn't matter. If the pictures won't print at 8x10 without cutting off anyone, the aspect ratio is wrong for that size. I tried and you can print as a 7x10 and either leave an inch at the top or bottom, or split it and put one half inch at both. You don't lose much of the picture this way as you can see.
7x10 in
Don't know what Photoshop program you have, but my three, warn me if there's a problem and asks if I want the program to adjust the image so that everything shows in the print.
You did a good job of posing those shots, but they seem to be shot at a very high ISO and have a noise problem, which will affect the sharpness of a larger print.

The best I could see was to print at 6x10 and sacrifice some as I show here. To lose nothing you would probably need to print at around 5x10 but that leaves 1 1/2 inches on each side.

Agree that if the aspect ratio will not support an 8x10 that no version of Photoshop will help. How about adding a border using one of the colors in the photo. Add enough border so that you can make an 8x10 photo. Another solution is just to have it printed on 8x10 paper, if I understand correctly you can make a 7x10 and have a custom mat made for a larger frame.

The bottom photo would be tough for this, but with the top photo you could actually enlarge the canvas to 10x12 and leave the image centered, then clone the floor and wall above and below the image to fill in that white space thereby expanding the picture into a larger size that you could crop out that 8x10 image without cutting anyone off.
Always keep in mind the proportion of your cameras sensor in relation to what you might want to print at. Sensors are 3:2, prints are often more like 4:5 ratio. Leave cropping room and it will work. Also, 8x12 prints are quite common everywhere and you would not lose anything that way.
What's the setting in the PS print menu (too lazy to open this evening)? Scale image to fit media? You get white borders around the image, but there is no cutoff.
Laurel.... Here is the picture cut to 8X10 using CS6. Your pictures are quite tight and leave little room for editing to an 8X10 or 5X7. May I suggest that next time leave more room on all sides. On one of my cameras, I have it masked so I know where my limits are. We do school portraits, so all the head shots must be the same size or ratio.
Have a great Friday!!

Have you checked your photo size to the paper size. Resize the photo to fit within the confines of the paper size.
