Back around the first week of October last year, my wife called to me to check out the hawk that was sitting on our side fence. I grabbed my camera (Canon T3i, Sigma 18-250mm lens) and shot a few photos through the patio door (I didn't want to scare the hawk away).
After the first few shots, he flew over to our back fence, and I was able to get a couple more before he decided he'd had enough.
