Cooperative Blue Heron

I went "bird hunting" the other day in Gulf Shores, AL and found a very cooperative Great Blue Heron. He (She?) moved very little even as I got out of the car and closed the door. Got pretty close, unusual as most times they take off if you get close to them.

Cholly: Thanks for the kind remarks. I use a Canon T4i and for these photos, I used a Tamron 70-300 mm F4-5.6 lens - both 1 and 3 were at 300mm.
