I want to make my own greeting cards/note cards using my photos. What programs offer this option? Which program is the easiest to use? I know there are web sites that I can send photos to and they will make the cards, but I want to be able to do my own, so I can send them as the occasion arises. THANKS!

Here are some sites you can check. I haven't used any of these programs, though. The review/comparison might be worth a read. you can probably do what you want without buying a program - lots of free programs seem to be available.

I've used Blurb.com to produce several books. They do cards, calendars, cutouts, etc also. Theyre easy, competitive priced and have GREAT customer service.

I have used "The Print Shop" for many years, going back to my Apple IIGS in fact and love it. I have made calendars for friends and family for close to 20 years with all Anniversaries, Birthdays, and such on them.
Cards are a snap as is importing your own photos for the cards.
I have used most every "Card" program over the years and the only one I keep and keep updating is "The Print Shop".
Good Luck, making your own cards is so much better than using Hallmark or any other mass produced card. Your own card can be personalized to the individual to whom you are sending it.

A number of years ago I purchased the Humorous Greeting Cards program. You can make your own cards, banners, envelopes, labels, etc., etc., etc., on this program. Works great! It cost a few bucks...but over the years I've saved bunches of $$$. On a rare occasion I will buy a card at the store, but the price of greeting cards now days is unbelievable!!! Come on...$5 for a CARD?

I've always liked the idea of making my own cards because I can tailor them to the individual. The problem is that some people think I am being cheap. I can never make a card for my wife. I have to spend that $5.00.

eCards are another good idea, yet they don't take the place of paper, unfortunately. I use jacquielawson.com for cards.

I used to make my own greeting cards, package them with envelopes, attach my own hearder card and sell them in a package of 6. Very popular back then.

Avery Dennison has software and the blank cards. Can be found at office supply stores. Good, but basic.
