I usually prefer sharply focused shots, but happen to love the motion in this one... and I haven't posted in awhile.

Wow, Putchie is beautiful. I love the Blue & Gold, such an elegant bird. Thanks for posting.

Thank you, all! She loves her showers. She makes little chirps and guttural sounds of joy.

If you get one of those plastic spray bottles fill with slightly warm water and set to a fairly medium to fine spray you can give your bird regular treats. I used to have a parrot that loved shower time, he would open his wings spread his tail and waddle back and to along the perch on his stand .He almost seemed to do a little rain dance.

In between big showers, she gets the spray bottle regularly. Your bird and Putchie must have gone to the same dancing school :-D

The only time she tries to seriously bite us is when we are clipping her nails. She hates that. Otherwise, she is a sweetie with us. However, we can never leave her unsupervised with other people because she will bite. Her beak carries 450psi.

Years ago I had a Blue Front Amazon and every once in a while she would bite me right between the thumb and first finger.....Can't imagine what a Macaw could do to you if she wanted to.
