Beautiful shots of a handsome little guy. Grandchildren are the greatest.

I like the last one the best, I would pay attention to your skin tones as it looks a little off but over all it's nicely done.

The first one is great as well, I just wish he was looking directly at the camera, not up and over. It looks like someone (maybe mom) was standing behind you trying to get your attention.

The middle one is the weakest of the three, the focus fell on the eyes of the hat not on the little guys eyes.

there is only one "picky" thing I can find. It seems to me that there is a "drape" effect in the first one's background in the lower left. I like the photo, but the light hitting the backdrop is drawing my attention. If it were moved back just a little more, and hanging straight, I think it would have improved the shot. I really like all 3 of them, but the last one is the best.

Thank you for the critique. I agree that the focus was off on the second one, tried to fix it in post, but to no avail. I tried using natural window light, is that what could make the skin tones look off? He was a little crabby, and yes Mom was behind me trying to get him to smile :)

Thank you bkyser, for taking the time to reply. I agree that you can stilll see my backround. I wanted a black for the backround, and all i have right now is a black velvet with stripes on it. i thought i could mask it better, but i do see there is stil some areas where the stripes are visible. He was a wiggly little guy that day, so i didnt want to move him much farther from the wall. I do see how that would have helped though. Thank you again :D
