White bird.?

Nice shot. Looks like a species of an Egret. Similar to our Snowy Egret here in the USA. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Mt first thought was an Egyptian Vulture but they have yellow faces. I'm stumped. Looked through both the North American and European bird guides and came up empty. Nothing I can find from north Africa either. Be interested to see what it finally turns out to be. Where did you shoot it and what was the relative size of the bird? Nice capture, by the way.

Thanks bcheary it is a small bird, smaller that a dove. It was in the Zoo and I put it on a different background as the original one was not very good. Thanks for the thumbups

Thanks edgorm It was a small bird, smaller than a dove. I took it at a Zoo and put it on a new background as the one in the Zoo was not very nice. I have put the original image up and you can see the size of the bird to the Dove.

Thanks Geof, I took it at Newquay Zoo and put it on a new background as the original one was not very nice. I have posted the original picture. Val
