I shot this 'on the fly' last Friday. I'd completely forgotten about it till I ran across it today. My house was built in the early 60's & I'm sure this fixture is original.

Yes, it looks like a typical sixties light fitting, built to last, does not fall apart, no maintenance, just clean it and change the lamp.
