Actually in any free society where corporations are not regulated and controlled by government and are motivated solely by profit, that's exactly what happens.. It's part of the price we pay for our freedom. The only way to eliminate the complaints in that carton is greater government control. Is that what you want?

There's a term for the type of government that controls businesses within a society. It's called Facism.

I tried to download the book but it is only available in the UK. Too bad because it seems very much like a book that I would read, there is a decline in the US that is hard to understand and explain that goes beyond outsourcing.

What does the government have to do with corporations laying off people, or taking their homes or tracking your every move?
Government isn't making corporations layoff people. Corporations are doing it so the can get their products made in communist China...... a partnership of capitalism and communism...... to please Wall Street.
The government isn't taking away homes. Bank are doing it.
The credit rating companies (Fair Isac and others), Google. and phone companies are the ones tracking you. NSA gets its info from them.
Put the blame where it belongs. Block number three explains what is wrong with our democracy.
