I recently found a very good treeker pole, or walking stick that accomodates accessories on top, inclding camera mounts. The pole has a 1/4/-20 male thread on top and using a 1/4 to 3/8 threaded bushing will accept standard tripod heads. See PosterGardens.com. elderjim
