Looks like it will works!!!

Looks really good in 3D. I think that's about as long (under 3 minutes) as I could comfortably maintain a 3D video image. It occurs to me that watching a video in sbs 3D is more tiring than seeing photos in sbs 3D. Maybe the brain or eyes do more work when the image is moving in a video.

It gets easier. I seen your other comment thanks. This video has a "Hurry up and wait" feature that makes it difficult to want! to look at. (it's boring)
Plus each time you take your eyes off the screen for anything you have to regain the lock.
I believe a better video will fix those two things. :)
As far as medical applications in conjunction with Micro 3D is fantastic.
I think that in some cases if there were only a slight change in focus may be beneficial.
If you know about focal stacking than you will understand it would be compiled of only two images on the screen but instant and
in real time for real study's, placed side by side , viewed then move on to the 2nd and 3rd then 3 and 4th focal points.
I use it all the time to make sure the entire flower is in focus in 3D while each separate photo alone may be out of focus on each opposite side.
Earl is the only one noticed what I was doing i think
I'd say 3D technicians invented focal stacking by sheer accident.
But the true macro department might boycott me:roll:
I wonder if we can hide "subliminal messages" in there?
Interesting stuff about the stacking. I hadn't thought of that but it makes sense that both sides would need the same objects in focus, so the easiest way is to make everything in focus with stacking.
I think it would be easy to insert a one or two frame subliminal message. I'm not sure how many frames would be optimal. I guess you could experiment, or there may be research on it. It should be easy to find out if the subliminal message is recognized by asking people to watch the video and identify what they think the message is. The ideal would be for the viewer to get the message, but not see it consciously. There's lots of stuff on this in advertising with hidden messages and symbols in ads. They supposedly did it overtly in movie theaters in the 50's ... flashing a message like " eat some popcorn " subliminally during the previews to boost sales at the concession stand. Not sure if it worked or not. I think the overt messages may have been made illegal, but the hidden messages are in lots of ads today.
