I received an email today for a download of Lightroom 5 for $69. I got it and it works great.

It must be. I had to enter a special promo code. I got the email because I have an account. If you open an account you may be able to get it. Since it is a Saturday, the store is closed, but you may be able to do it online. Good luck.

Sounds like LR6 is about out. They usually start the special pricing about the time a new release is due out.
