Has anybody dealt with this dealer

I am curious if anyone here has purchased anything online from AJRICHIE. They have prices far below other "discount" stores. For example, they have a Nikon d7100 body for under 800.00. I know the saying about if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. I would like to know if anyone has any experience with this company. Thanks, from PhotoPhred

Classic bait-and-switch dealer, stay far away from them.

I have never heard of AJRICHIES before. Suggest you Google AJRICHIES complaints and see what comes up. I did. I don't think it is an extremely reliable place. Best to stick with the leaders. B&H, Adorama, Calumet, etc or possibly a local camera store. Have a GREAT DAY and stay away from the scammers.

Stay away from them. I ordered the D7100 from them and I got a phone call from the customer rep wanting to know why I didn't order the U. S. version. I told him I thought I did. He said no the U. S version was $1146.95. I told him to ship it. I didn't feel right about the whole order so I started to track order. I found out the order was in town but UPS wouldn't deliver it because the company requested a return of the item. I go online with My credit card company and they gave me a credit for the whole amount. I wouldn't buy anything from AJRitchie period.

I ended up getting the D7100 from Amazon and several other items as well. Never a problem with Amazon.

+1  Amazon is great, especially when the seller is someone you already know and trust. I just purchased a camera from Adorama via Amazon. I had a bunch of different gift cards I'd been saving, but would be difficult to use on the Adorama site. So I went to the store, used them all to buy one Amazon card at no additional cost to me, and then bought the camera on Amazon. It was the same price on both sites, has the same guarantee, etc., shipped from Adorama within a couple hours of my purchase and and should be here early next week.

I used to buy from Amazon for expensive photo gear but now they charge sales tax to Massachusetts so Adorama is much better in this regard.

Thanks for all the great information. I was a little skeptical about this company, but sometimes there might be a real bargain out there. Thanks again, I will stick to reputable dealers. PhotoPhred
