I'm fascinated with the way snowdrifts and their shadows play off each other. I went out and shot some photos even though it was only 4 above at the time.

I'm afraid this scene has been repeated all over the country. I'm just glad I live where the road crews know how to handle it, unlike down south where they've been pretty much shut down a few times the last month or so.

Agree, me too. Once we get out of the driveway, at least the roads are clear enough, but we can barley see over the snow banks at the end of the drive!!

Guess I need to get out and try some like this!! Will have to see about coming down your way to look for some of those old barns!!
