Part of the Article at the URL below.....

And the fine print of the latest announcement from the Administration is worse than the terrible headlines. This rule includes a provision that says you have to have the right motives for having a certain number of employees to be in compliance with Obamacare. Bear with me, that’s right: You must certify to the IRS – under the threat of perjury – that the reasons for your employee head count have nothing to do with your opposition to or avoidance of Obamacare. This president doesn’t just selectively enforce the law as he sees fit; now he is actually inventing new crimes. It’s jaw-dropping that if you fall below 100 employees, the burden will be on you to prove that you meant no disrespect to Obamacare. I can’t wait to see the video of the first Democrat who tries to defend this new threat of prosecution within Obamacare. In fact, look for the White House to fix this and somehow drop this provision altogether. It’s completely indefensible.

Do we have any Small Business owners out there.. I am one and I guarantee that if I had too (I only have 5 employees so dont have to worry about it..YET) And if the IRS drops by, I will invite them politely to bend over and I will gift them with one of my "Custom" Drill Bits....

If true, that would be called the Orwellian clause... it is a thought crime- Obamellian perhaps.

We live in a new world- that was his promise at his inauguration.

Affordable health care is the law of the land...legislated and passed by a majority of votes (Republicans & Democrats) in the House and Senate. It has withstood many efforts to override that decision...without ever coming to a vote. Why did those legislators (Democrats and Republicans) pass this bill into law if it is so horrible...and if so why hasn't it been legislated out. It is flawed, indeed, but is better than nothing. 70% of bankruptcy's in this country are medically related. People need insurance. The emergency room at a hospital is the only medical facility that by law must attend to everyone regardless of insurance or not. That bill $800-$2,000 for an emergency room physician for a routine medical issue is billed to each and every one of us through increased health care costs, deductibles on policies, and out-of-pocket expenses. Visit an emergency room and see for yourself. Every Congress in the past 30 years has talked about the need for a universal health care system like every other industrialized country in this world has. It was a bi-partisan consensus, voted on in both Houses, and passed into law. It certainly isn't perfect...but it's a start!

Hear, hear! And where is a substantive alternative plan from the "loyal opposition"? We're still waiting...waiting...waiting.

Here is a LONG article on the above subject... and here is a very very short part of that article... BUT Please read the whole article.. I KNOW it will not change your attitude..but it is very informative...

During the debate over ObamaCare, Harry Reid refused to allow the Senate to vote on this Republican alternative — even though it was more progressive than Obama Care.

He adds this rhetorical query: “The Republicans start out with a plan that is more progressive than ObamaCare and Democrats can’t find a way to compromise. Whose fault is that?”

Indiana said in part..
Affordable health care is the law of the land...legislated and passed by a majority of votes (Republicans & Democrats) in the House and Senate.

Unless I am incorrect (and it has happened...lol) this particular Posting (which I started) has nothing to do with what you have written above...
It seems that this is a NEW law, originating with Obama and not voted on by either Democrats or Republicans....

Indiana's response is typical of those defending Obama-- ACA and otherwise: ignore the facts and attack the messenger. No argument that healthcare in the US is in need of improvement, but bankrupting the nation is not the solution. The point of this particular posting has to do with Draconian measures imposed on small business owners that, to say the very least, are highly questionable and unconstitutional. Republicans have proposed sensible alternatives, but have been totally ignored by Democrats and then lambasted for not supporting the Prez and the ACA. In another perspective, what good does it do to force a business out of business by such extreme restrictions, and thereby adversely impact an already struggling economy- much less add to the unemployment roles? Does anyone else see the irony and idiocy in this approach?

Wink44. Interesting how you make associations that are not supported by written statements!

Venture9. If you are going to quote me...quote me accurately. I never said "that both Republicans and Democrats voted for the ACA" {your quote.} I said "legislated and passed by a majority of votes (Republicans and Democrats) in the House and Senate." The term "Republicans and Democrats" is a collective term when used in association with the House and Senate and represents all elected House members. I never said anything about specific numbers other than to say it was "passed by a majority of votes."
