I use ebay often, I have bought some things from Hong Kong and china. Most were slow shipping but good products. Beware of the pitfalls of gray market camera and lenses.
But I would never buy from anyone that did not have a lot of feedback and good ratings.
In other words No!!!!

NO! You'll be asked to put money in their pay pal account and never hear from them again. There is a group who offer prices too good to be true scamming folks around the world. I received an email from pay pal with a warning and this outfit was selling electronics out of Hong Kong.
I would not buy anything from China with 100% feedback.

Gee...guess the Hong Kong crowd will just have to steal more technology so they can afford to sell stuff on Ebay.
I have bought many, many items on Ebay....maybe 30 lenses, camera and all kinds of accessories from all over the world....NEVER had a problem with anyone or any item from overseas.....have had more than I would like problems with items from the USA....Ebay guarantees most items and I have never lost a nickle from them.....PayPal also backs all sales.......
I have bought a lot of camera stuff from China and Hong Kong as well. Hong Kong shipping has been surprisingly fast. China much slower. I have had a couple of problems, but the sellers have always made them right.
I wouldn't buy from someone without substantial favorable feedback - and the eBay guarantee doesn't apply then either.
No way.......................
if YOU LIKE WHAT IT IS, PAY BY PAYPAL ONLY. IF ITS NOT WHAT THEY SAY IT IS PAYPAL WILL GIVE YOUR MONEY BACK. I BLOW 100s OF $ ON EBAY.

Why not? I bought a US President from Kenya, and look what has happened.
