For the second time in recent months, an item I purchased went on sale or had a rebate within 30 days. B&H issued a credit for the difference without delay. Guess they figured out they'll get it back and more! Anyway, they've yet to fail me.

I was recently disappointed with a flash purchase (Bolt Flash). They refunded my return quickly. Good outfit!

Thanks for the post. I am getting ready to buy a new camera. B&H has some I like. I am afraid I will buy the wrong one for me, this is my only chance to get a good one. Do you have any suggestions? I want a DSLR and I want optimal zoom.

How's this for me being vague?? Camera gear is personal and many never have enough accessories, etc. Surely you'll get some valid responses like what kind of budget and how do you plan to use it. You don't have to go crazy. I would like to think that maybe a point and shoot, use it and see if you want more. Maybe you can be more objective after getting your feet wet! Good luck!

If you ever get to NYC don't miss the opportunity to visit the B&H store. It's the best adult toy shop in the world. They are friendly and have a multitude of experts. Plan on spending hours because it is that big. Have fun.

Just celebrated our 43rd anniversary this week, but a trip like you're recommending could preclude the 44th!

I keep one credit card with a low credit limit on it just in case I ever get a chance to visit the store! I'll leave my other cards at home! :)

My wife is smarter than that. When she goes to NYC she takes both cards and leaves me at home.

I think Adorama is just as good and maybe a bit better.

When I was trucking I met a driver who, before entering Nevada would stop at the last truckstop before the state line and wire all his money to the first truckstop after leaving the state. Said it was the only way he could cross Nevada without going broke!

I often check their site and find them comparable, but I don't see a reason to leave my "comfort zone" at this time. I've had positive experiences with about 20 orders in the last two years. It's important to feel comfortable while trying to do my part to improve the economy of the U.S.

Thanks to all for your vote of confidence. Always gratifying to hear. And to DaveO, give me a heads up if your planning a trip to visit the store on a Mon.-Thurs.. I"ll be more than happy to give you a behind the scenes tour of our extensive facilities (Offer open exclusively to members of UHH).

Thanks again.

All the best.

HERSHEL
