Here's a question for you. Who do you think will be the Democratic nominee? Hillary, Joe Biden, or someone else. I know its early in the game but I'd like to talk about it with other Hogs.
Barring any unforeseen incidents I think it will be Biden but it will be a dogfight to the end. I think Biden will be seen as the most tenable candidate and has done a good job of staying above the fray where this administration is concerned
I welcome all thoughtful comments especially from the conservatives here. Please give a reason for your choice.
While I admire that you are considering this topic at such an early date, Dave, we certainly need far more than one person in one office to set about righting the wrongs we've got going on in our country. The right president will be of great help, but we also need to replace the regional EPA director who won't let Mike trim back underbrush from his trees and bushes, causing a severe wildfire during summer months.
Or the top echelon of the DOT and DOE hiking up ethanol percentages in our gasoline, causing our engines to wear out prematurely, or simply not run correctly.
Or the BLM officials who are taking bribes from ranchers in western states to kill off wild mustang herds, thus preserving federally owned (taxpayer owned) grazing land for their cattle herds.
I haven't brought up the IRS for attacking groups supposedly protected by OUR 1st Amendment? I haven't mentioned our NSA gathering confidential information about private citizens without a Constitutionally required search warrant? Or an Attorney General who has sued several of OUR states for passing legislation requiring government ID to vote, while you or I probably would not even be allowed in his government office (OUR office) without a picture ID? Did I forget to mention these things? No...there's just no need to mention them!
We need a whole lot more than a president.
It's gonna be a fun show when they start throwing dirt. I still don't think PresBo, is going to leave that easily.

You're absolutely correct Danilo, but for the purposes of this post I just wanted to hear your thoughts on who the Democratic nominee might be.

Who, indeed, will they choose, Dave. The trouble with figuring that one out is that the Democratic party will likely not apply a logical criteria to their choice. They're finishing now with the country's first black (well, 1/2 black) president, and now they appear enamored with having the first female president. Perhaps after that they would like the first transgendered president. If you follow the crooked line I'm painting, here, they don't choose the best qualified person, rather the most fashionable. I wouldn't even be surprised to see Sandra Fluke take a stab at it!

The most confounding quote to date from Biden: ""There may be reasons I don't run, but there's no obvious reason for me why I think I should not run."
At this stage, my guess is that if Clinton decides to run, Biden will step aside. Frankly, I really hope someone else comes along.
I really do believe that the most qualified person for the office of President is too intelligent to take the job.

You are right. I would never take the job.
I would be dictator though.
Like I said before I'm IND., I do not like Hillary or Joe Biden. Both of them is just another Obama.
That flake from my state,Elizabeth Warren keeps popping up as a runner. You may remember her as being called Liarwatha?
Well thank you all for your comments. I'm sorry I haven't been around more, I been more busy at school than I thought I would be.

Hmmm.. I am going to withhold my opinion of both candidates as I have great reservations about both of them.... Having said that Biden does not stand a chance if Hillary runs.
