Here it is... the last theme of the 2011 year (but not the last of the challenges by ANY means!)

This week's theme requires a little bit of creativity and thought, but shouldn't be too difficult for most of us.

"The Key to Your Heart"

It can be anything, an image, a thing, a person, an abstract thought... anything that unlocks the depths of your heart. It doesn't have to be singular either, many of us have MANY keys.

The "keys" to remember here are:

1. There are no rules and no prizes other than the intrinsic value of the experience itself (and of course, the kudos and admiration of fellow forum participants!)

2. These challenges are chosen in the hope that they inspire us to get out and snap some photos with new, fresh outlooks... new eyes, if you will.

3. Creativity leads to unique aspects of these themes... there is no "right or wrong" technique. Anything goes here as long as it's in keeping with the forum rules (as in "family friendly).

4. Fun! It is my hope that these are not just challenging but FUN, as well.

Happy shooting and ...

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!

I was out at the park with the camera today and this little dude wanted to go swimming with the ducks so bad... he was hilarious to watch. He'd take a few steps in his walker and head for the water. Poor dad had all he could do to keep ahead of him. When they got next to me this little angel stopped dead in his tracks and gave me that priceless look. No photo ham in that child LOL.

I just love babies

Looks like you had fun (and were warmer than we were farther north along the Atlantic)

Thanks, Tilde, a fun day watching surfers and visiting lighthouses in the area - things my grandson hadn't seen.
