I live in Wisconsin and go to Door County for 3 or 4 days each year to collect photos from that area. This year it will be in late spring..

Absolutely cool - and none of them even turned to invite you into the shots!! :-D :-D lol
The somberness, solitude, - and having a photographer in the scene - I think, draws the viewer in. You can take a beautiful photo anywhere, but having the photographers present in the frame makes it appear ALIVE!!
