Hey john blue. Thanx for the visit. What happens is that with the accumulation of snow, and the windblown snow as the season advances the snow banks made by the plows and snowblowers get higher and higher and then as a storm goes by, the winds push the snow and it gets trapped there versus early winter snows get blown across the fields.Then the snowblowers go by again and the banks get higher.

Roadrunner: How did you get all the snow so white? Here once the roads are plowed and a few cars travel over it neither the road nor the plowed snow is pristine white anymore. It is dirty and yucky. Even sled hills are no longer white after a few hours sledding on the new snow.

Are you in town? They use no salt or anything out on those farm roads, could be the reason.
