Just a little something to think about.

I shot this today in an area of the house where two "A" frames meet. There is about 3 1/2 feet of snow on the roof at this point. Fortunately I designed the trusses to take a 7ft. snow loading.

The only reason I took this shot was that I was watching the news the other night and they were showing people scrambling to get the snow off of their roofs before then next system hit.

Back in the winter of 2010/2011 we had to have our roof cleaned of the snow. That was a bad winter for snow. We had more than 4' of snow where a lower roof met a higher roof and right in between them was the bathroom vent.

It is more for the rain. It is right at the overhang at our front door.

That's o.k., I have been doing just fine without one. I don't need any more temptations (stuff).
