Titmouse in the cold

Folks, the little birdies here don't seem to like this cold snap. I only had one bird visit so far today and he didn't stick around for long. We're having a little sleet right now. Those are the short white streaks throughout the photo and he has a few specks on his back.

At least the titmouse stuck around longg enough for a nice portrait to be taken.

Sunny here and -20 C. I cleared some space in the backyard with my snowblower, put down come seed and I've got chickadees already.

We have spoiled birds, used to warmer weather. We're now 30 degrees below normal today. The average is 50 F (10 C) for Feb. 6th. What's a snowblower? Just kidding of course. Glad to hear your getting some action.
