GC likes NIKON Loc: East Greenwich, Rhode Island

Forgive me if this is posted in the wrong place and feel free to move it:

For those of you that who are in the Rhode Island area or nearby states and want to see and photograph something truely unique:

The Newport Polo Club will be playing an exhibition match on the BEACH in Newport instead of their usual polo fields. They actually ride their polo ponies on and play polo on Easton's Beach at Low tide for a huge audience as part of Newport Winterfest. The match usually lasts for an hour.

The event is FREE and open to the public On Saturday February 15th and Sunday February 16th. The address is 175 Memorial Blvd, Newport, RI. Parking is off street and plentiful.

Also going on is an Ice Sculpting event and nearby is Sachuest Point where there are several Snowy Owls (see my avitar) residing for the winter and the famous Cliff Walk behind the Belevue Mansions. There are always surfers riding waves at the next beach down.

I'll be there on Sunday.
