This is my third "Student Portfolio". I am in my second year of school. This portfolio was created with the concept of "Within the Mist". I welcome C&C as I am new to digital photography.
Thank you
Kaytlyn

I particularly enjoy the first two and last three. They are well seen and exceptionally well taken. I am not a great abstract lover - much prefer nature in landscape rather than micro.

Thank you
That is one of my strong points. I am a work in-progress when it comes to the technical aspect of photography though. That is why I chose to go to school.

Great job on all of them; especially like 'Granite Wall Flower & Waterfall' and 'Lake Sunset' HAve to ask where in So Cal did you find a frozen pond?

Thank you for your comments. I am also a landscape photographer. In school you have specific criteria for each assignment. Which introduces you to different styles of photography. Sometimes I like the variety of abstract and minimalist photography. My Professors are always pushing me past the "post card" type of images. To go beyond the obvious in a scene.

Ha! Ha! This assignment was taken during our first rain. If you want to call it that, back in December. Now I am in a speech class, and a PhotoShop class. No time to go mountain hiking! The frozen pond is near Big Bear, Ca. But, the mountains are calling me as we have had some rain with lower temperatures.

I'm not quite sure if they all fit in the theme: "Within the Mist" but I like them all never the less. Good work & do keep shooting!

Great shots, I especially love the last one. You have a lot of talent judging by these images. One thing I might critique, your name printed so large takes away from the image, if you can make it smaller or just leave them out. Just my opinion.
