Here's a shot with the 150x600 of the moon hand held and a heavy crop on one.

Hey guts. Thanks for the shot. That's about as far distance as you can get. The cropped image had great detail for being hand held at the ISO and f stop. I really appreciate your help.

I would enjoy that. If you go, the best time to photograph the eagles is between sunrise and about 11:30AM. The eagles are active then and the sun is just right. After about 11:30 the sun is behind the nest and it makes for some unwanted shadows. I haven't been there later in the day.
