I was thinking (always a dangerous thing) about grouping names. Herd of cows. flock of birds etc. etc. Is there a grouping phrase to describe a bunch of lenses, or of cameras? Any interesting Thoughts?

How about a clutch of cameras? Or a bevy of lenses?

I don't know if it is interesting or not, but group names like "Murder of Crows or "Pride of Lions" usually apply to living creatures.

Boxes or cameras are inanimate objects, and are most often referred to by their location or condition, like a box of cameras, a stack of boxes, a display of menswear, etc. :D

I've seen, right here on the Hog, the collection of lenses belonging to one person "my stable."
Sorry, don't remember who said that.

Just thought of one myself. A GAS of cameras, and a glass of lenses
