Suggestions for PSE 11? Are there even Noise reduction softwares (that work) for PSE?

Thank you!

I use the Noise reduction capability available in Windows Live Photo Gallery. Quite Effective!

I have found that "Noiseware Community" does a fine job, and it's very fast, (and free). Just Google 'noiseware community'.

I just started using Noiseware Community Edition which is a free program. They do have paid versions as well.

It seems that their paid versions will work with PSE.

I use Topaz's 'DeNoise' plug-in. Works well, very simple to use as a filter within PSE. www.topazlabs.com

Topaz deNoise will work with PSE 11. It's good. You can try out the demo before buying.

I have Topaz DeNoise and NIK DFine. Both are excellent.

I'm glad you asked that question... I have used several noise filters, and I can't say that any one tool is the BEST. For me it comes down to the type of image I'm trying to "clean-up". Some images clean-up better than others with different apps. Has anyone done a side-by-side comparison?

Thanks everyone! I'll try both Topaz and Noiseware.

Does anyone have a side by side comparison of an image with and one without noise reduction from either softwares?

Here is a recent shot at ISO 8000ish from my D7100. I used noiseware community edition set at portrait default. That was the only PP done.

---------------

It appears that I am unable to upload images ATM. Will try again later.

I have used both Topaz and Nik and while both work well I would say NIK is the best.

I use Nik's Define as well. I have not used Topaz, but it does have a lot of users as well.

Attempting to upload again. As previously stated, this is ISO 8000. I pulled the original NEF and converted then ran Noiseware. The site is complaining about the size of my uploads so I cropped a small portion of both images rather than resize.

Impressive. I used to try to push Tri-X a couple of stops. Results were never like with digital.

Now, if I could only find Focusware, ReFocus or FineFocus!
