Todays Osprey 2-4-14

Canon 50D and Canon 300 2.8 W/2XII from monopod, manual exposure, 1/640 @ 5.6 ( wide open) ISO 250 . This female was eating her lunch when something got her riled up and she went into a defense stance - I could see another bird flying near out the corner of my eye but could not ID it as I was focused on the reaction of the osprey. Never seen this before....

Welll Herr Imagemeister you certainly lived up to your name on that one, GREAT job! You really made the composition with the diagonal tree limb. As an Osprey addict I take my hat off to you on this one. Cheers, Robin
