Took a walk along the river this afternoon. Wet and overcast but mild. Otter feeding and spring flowers on the riverbank.
Excellent set David.Roll on spring.

Hello Doddy
Thank you for looking and for your very kind comment. That otter was oblivious to me until he looked up in that last shot. These were taken about 3:00pm in an area well used by dog walkers. I have seen otters there before but never that early in the day.
You are right. Nature is in a state of confusion. I have never seen a wild daffodil this early. Growing right beside an ancient spring. All very weird.

You are so fortunate to experience an otter in the wild. They are such cute creatures. I really like the shot of him looking up at you with the leaf on his head. Thanks for the smile!

Hello LLucas
Thank you very for looking and for taking the time to post your kind comment. They are really cute creatures. He heard the camera shutter and looked up but held that look for a few minutes before swimming off downstream and out of sight. Glad you enjoyed them.

Hello Gregory
Thank you for your kind comment, much appreciated. Glad you liked them. The blooms are really early, at least the daffodil is, but very nice to see them.

Love these shots, David, well done! I especially like the otter looking at you, reminds me of my cat's look when he wonders what I am doing.
Love otters! Nice! -15 degrees here right now, no flowers! Glad you added the photo with the old stone. Oh and unfortunately we are calving so have to be out in the cold, fingers crossed, no wind yet!
