Actually, there was no special talent that I had other than choosing to put Kodak Ektachrome slide film into my Nikon F Photomic that night. For years all I was shooting was slide film and in retrospect I'm glad that I did as I find positives easier to work with in post production than negatives. So Ektachrome would tend to be cooler, and Kodachrome would tend to be warmer in coloration. That's just the beginning but it's already ancient history as the digital age has made film all but obsolete.
