Everyone knows this scene. Grebe dives under water and comes up with something to eat. Great BUT next time she comes up, she's got another Grebe by the neck, she dunks her, comes up again and this time smashes her. Never saw either one again

That's a new one for me. Nice set. Very well taken. Love the way the drops are frozen in mid conflict. Thanks.

WOW! I thought our mallards were the only vicious ducks.
Great shots. Good news is they can stay under water for quite some time and then pop up on the other side of the lake. So hopefully they didn't drown.

Wait a minute . . . . . I recognize what's going on here. They are mating believe it or not. Reminds me the first time I saw the Canadian goose, my feelings were that that they were fighting. Boy, was I wrong!
