Agreed, Jim. Gulls are different from other birds. No two shots are the same and you can get some really nice stuff if you stay with them.

Thank you for the kind response, Alissa. I was using the Nikon 55-300. It's a great lens. Took these shots on the second day of shooting with the D7100. Didn't take me long to get addicted to this camera.
