I like this picture but am wondering what some of you would do with it in post to make it look better or different.

Thanks

To make it different, I played a little with it, but frankly, I like your original better. The branch shadows on the bird are an interesting detail

I would leave it as it is,if you start to clone things out etc it would spoil it.Very nice shot.

Is this photo cropped? If it is, you may try re-cropping to show the very end of the tail and maybe take a little off the left side. This is a Beauty!

Very pretty image with nice light and shadows!

1. Maybe just some off the bottom

2. Or the left side and bottom

3. #2 without the branch

Try as I might, I couldn't clone out the large white shape at the bottom right of the photo. Had it not been for that distraction, this would have been a much better photo. As it was, I blurred it burnt it down to remove the visual impact. I also made a selection on the bird to brighten and increase structure, while blurring and darkening the background somewhat. This served to make the Mockingbird "pop" without totally obliterating its surroundings.

I think cropping it off the top and left side would make it even better.

It's a well exposed, sharp photo, but the "busy" in it seems to defy fixing so the composition isn't going to be strong no matter what. I'm afraid it's one of those vexing situations that make you say, "Humm," and then go back to the drawing board, or the woods, or where you did it to do it again.
