Firmware Updates for Panasonic Lumix?

I just observed a thread about firmware updates for Nikon cameras. I did a search on Google for Panasonic Lumix updates and drew basically zero responses.

Can anyone tell me whether Panasonic has issued firmware updates for any of their Lumix cameras? And, if so, where I can locate them?

Thanks.

Bill

Just because there is an update out there (if indeed there is) doesn't mean you need to do it... Only do it if it addresses a problem you are having with your camera.... In other words "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"...Same as it applies to computers (after all, that's what cameras are nowadays...)

I'm the OP. I tend to agree with you. But knowing where to go for help when I need it is very handy information to have. And I'm grateful to myst10 for providing me that information.

Not to your question, but to mine... I have a new gm1. How do you like your larger zooms? Is one. After than the other? Any quality issues? Do they have image stabilization in the lens?
Thanks. Dsrapa

I'm not sure who you were addressing this quote to. (Do you know about using the "Quote Reply" button?)

For myself, I have the lenses ranging from 14mm to 300mm and I've been very happy with all of them. There are possibly two reasons for this. Either (a) they're all so good that they all deserve praise; or (b) I'm so unqualified that I couldn't judge a bad lens if it bit me on the ass.

I hope it's reason (a); but I fear it may be reason (b). :D :D
