The colors of the balloons are pretty close to real. I may have brightened things up a bit but these were early morning shots with lots of bright NM sun. The exception is the American Flag where I needed to make the whites bright. Maybe I overdid it but I remember being stunned by the way most of these looked raw, straight out of the camera. There's a reason why the ABQ Balloon Fiesta is one of the most photographed events in the world.
Where I took a lot of liberty is in the skies. In several of the images I had to replace the sky completely since many of these were backlit and I did not have a polarizing filter.

OK...I take it back. I just looked at the history on some of these images and in almost every case I gave "clarity" and "vibrance" a significant boost.
Guess I did more work on these than I remembered.
