It's not for me to judge but something very suspect happened in Italy when Meredith Kercher was killed. Amanda Knox was clearly in the house when the incident happened, although she may not have been involved
Why should she not go back to Italy and explain to the court why she is innocent.
At least in in Italy she will not be be executed as could happen in the US.

You do know that she was acquitted in her SECOND trial, which means that there was not enough evidence to convict her. And the 1983 extradition law protects her from having to stand trial again.

To Americans the Italian justice system seems a little arcane, I never understood that case but I did not follow it closely. The one thing that makes no sense to me is that the biggest evidence that they supposedly had on her was her DNA on a kitchen knife. Did she not live in the same home and use the same kitchen utensils?

Yes, they were roommates. So yes, Amanda's DNA would have been all over the apartment.

This was the lead story on the TODAY show this morning. Really? A new trial about an old murder in Italy is top news? Is there no more important stuff we as Americans need to know the truth about ... like our lying administration?

Also, didn't she already spend four years in an Italian prison before the aquittal?

I sure don't know, but this internation criminal defense lawyer says the likelihood of extradition is high:

She wouldn't be going back to Italy to "explain why she is innocent" after she has already been convicted of a crime after three trial - she would be going back to spend 25 years of her life in jail for a crime that she may have / may have not done. Does it take three trials in Italy's courts to convict someone? Her first conviction was overturned in the second trail. The third trial was a "out to get you" trial.

How can you possibly think that they were just "Out to get Her?"
Don't you think that they have more important cases to spend their time on, rather than try to convict someone just because they don't like her???????

My Wife and I have been at odds on this case since it started. I'll stand by the old adage,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"Where there's Smoke, there's Fire."

My Verdict is 'Guilty' and no one will ever change my mind. Apparently, like our "Justice System", as well as our 'Government' in general is so well known for, there's a lot more
to this than we as Americans will ever know.

I hope she has to go back and spend the rest of Her Life in Jail, where she belongs, for getting involved with the two to begin with. I have a feeling that the other Inmates will show Her what being "Foxy Knoxy" really means!

I understand your point of view. But how can you judge her to be guilty when in the second Italian trial she was acquited?

I can't answer that. Maybe it was on a technicality, who really knows? All i know is, i don't think ANYONE!!!!!!! in their right mind would waste their time on a case just because of who she is or where she came from.

Like i said, there's a lot more to this than we, as Americans, will ever know.

I have read that the U.S. extradites more criminals than any other country. We are attempting to extradite Snowden. We have many people in jail convicted of murder with less evidence than Knox. If her conviction is upheld she will be extradited to Italy.

Hasn't that happened here in the USA from time to time... Not sure if on second Trial, they were judged not guilty, but many times it seems that they get a NEW trial because of some technicality or ????
