I shoot RAW and JPEG together. I generally use RAW Therapee, a free open source program, for initial pp of RAW photos. It is pretty easy to use, has many adjustments, and you can save as 8 or 16 bit tif when you are finished. Then take the tif into your favorite pp program to tweak and crop as necessary and save as a Jpeg for printing. The tif files from RAW Therapee are usually 50k to 60k bits. Big files. Excellent results though. Have a GREAT DAY!

Lightroom, I find, is easy to use after watching a few tutorials online (the free ones). You can download the 30 day trial off of the Adobe site.
It's basically a bunch of sliders that you use to fine tune.
I agree. Watch a few tutorials on You Tube (search for Serg Ramelli to find a couple of good ones) (There are many others including lots from Adobe)
