My thoughts, cropped a little too tight should a frame be wanted.
Probably a little shallower depth of field for better separation.

What else?

Not to tight for a frame!! (Example)
IMO I think this is a very nice shot!

You have a nice shot there. Clear and crisp. I try to stay away from people pictures so am not the best judge. I do feel that yours is good.

The kid is just too cute to look at anything else.

I would not want to blur the background much more than it is. The photo is great the way it is but if I was going to try any PP with it, I might isolate the background (behind the path) on a separate layer and darken it just slightly so the eye would focus on the child easier.

She's adorable and I love her hat. How could anything be wrong with that picture.

Have you considered cropping it as a vertical shot? You could come in just past the tree on the left and quite a bit on the right. The background isn't adding anything to the shot. It looks to me like you were trying to religiously follow the rule of thirds in composing your shot. Not necessary.

I love the image as is. If you crop it as suggested the child will then be centered. Personally I don't like the focus to be centered. I find nothing distracting in your photo. My eyes were immediately drawn to the child. However, by framing I believe you might have meant actual framing as in a real frame. If so, then yes the image is cropped to tight for framing. The frame will end up touching the top of the head and the bike wheels. I love the photo!

Just to give you an idea of what I was talking about. If it's too centered for your taste, just add a bit on the right.

I do too it puts the focus on her not what's around her.
