....in the ravenous maw of Hungry Hungry Hippo!!!! :) Caught this the other day driving by one of our local parks. I think Ms. Danger Duck was on watch duty. I love the clandestine way she kept an eye on me while still keeping her bill tucked in away from the cold. (wind chill in the mid 20's) Here's a link to the set...

You can't really see the eye unless you download it but that is a very nice capture indeed. I will check out the others soon.

You seem to have picked the most dramatic of the bunch AJ, would you mind sharing what camera/lens combo you used and the settings?

Nikon D5100 w/ Sigma DG 70-300mm lens....
(I shot the above at a focal length of 270mm as I found this lens gets a little 'soft' when maxed out)
ISO-360, f10 at 1/250 sec.
Pretty minimal post processing.... just a minor curve & contrast tweak....
