CBS edited out much of the Ted Cruz interview.
should have clipped all of it.
Yeah , the networks should have clipped all of Obama's SOTU speech as well... Who needs politics on TV anyway...

Sleazy and shameful. One reason I never watch CBS.
I don't imagine that anyone is really all that surprised by this-- CBS, ABC, and NBC have all been repeatedly caught red-handed editing and modifying material to put the subject (usually Republican) in an unfavorable light, if not to totally distort what the person really said. It really is a caveat emptor situation for the viewer-- buyer beware- in terms of what one accepts and believes is objective unbiased reporting. Any and all such instances of intentionally distorted "reporting" should be highlighted in as many public forums as possible, and viewers need to express their outrage not just to the networks, but also to the sponsors of such programs. Unfortunately, complaining to the government (FCC) is most often a waste of time, as the current administration is not about to react.
For anyone not already clear, by sponsors, I mean the commercial sources of advertising aired during the program that pays for the program's airing and more importantly, keeps it (the program, as well as it's moderator, producer, et al) on salary and on the air.

Eureka! Here's a rare look into the 'mind?' of a Liberal.
His post suggests that all of the segment should have been "clipped", (destroyed). This is the same as saying,
(in true Liberal fashion), "I don't agree with it, therefore no one else should be allowed to see it."
Other examples of "Liberal Logic":
"I don't want to have a gun, therefore no one else should be allowed to have one."
" I don't want to live in a true Republic so we should change this nation into some other type of Government."
"I am not a Christian, so all references to anything Christian
should be outlawed."

I neglected to, and should have included both CNN and MSNBC in the list of chronic offenders. It perhaps should come as no surprise as well, that Fox News now enjoys by wide margin the top rating among its news reporting counterparts by viewers across the nation, while long-vaunted CNN's ratings have dropped precipitously. Why? More objective and in-depth coverage; credibility, accuracy and balance count! One need only look at the massive internal shake-up at CNN to see the sudden interest in loss of viewership.

I agree 100%. If you want to address your dissatisfaction with a network or show, instead of just calling them or writing them, also write the sponsors and emphatically state that you will no longer buy their product due to their support of that network or show.

True statement. It's curious why practically all the liberals I talk to almost universally refer to Fox as "Faux News".
