Took a little walk-about in Brattleboro VT and saw some things worth shooting (with my camera of course :mrgreen: ). Here is one of the things I captured.

Interesting. Looks a little like some of the sidewalks in NY with the scaffolding.

Love walking around Brattleboro. They have some great old buildings downtown and the River can be beautiful!

In the past I have been to Brattleboro on business. This was the first time I was able to take my time; it wont be the last time.

Nice shot! Actually, what was this box for? Or was it just decorative? They could always weld the slot shut!

It looks like a mail box but come to think of it I didnt check to see if the drop slot operated. Something to remember for the next time. :?

30 years ago, late on a Friday night, a guy positioned a mailbox like this in front of a bank's overnight deposit slot, wrapping chains around it and hung a sign that said, "Deposit slot out of order; make all deposits in mailbox."
Early Monday morning, the thieves removed the mailbox and made off with an estimated $500,000 in overnight deposits. It was presumed that they staked out the box all weekend long, just to be sure no one was suspicious. They were never caught.

I can guarantee that it wasnt me. If I made off with that kind of money I would own at least one full sensor camera.

Thank you Sue. It was a little challenging getting into the position I needed to get the lower perspective I wanted. I must have looked funny to people passing by. :shock:
